Boytroidal meaning "grape-like," Tourmaline from Burma has become more scarce over the last 5 years, due primarily to the oppressive political regime of Burma (aka Myanmar). This attractive Rubellite Tourmaline is well-balanced and large as far as these examples are concerned. It has a black core, and the red overgrowth creates a neat effect.
