This interesting deposit is in southern Rhode Island. The crystal form exhibits an interesting primary white Quartz crystal (clear core), with a lavender/purple scepter head secondary growth. I've taken pics to illustrate this effect. These crystals are found in loose dirt, as they were carried down from their original pegmatite by glaciers. Mining of this site has been for one day per year, for the last 10+ years. It comes with a custom made, lucite base. It's in fine condition, with only the tiniest Wilbur on the backside of the termination. An eye-catching scepter from a hard-to-find location.
