This Mimetite was mined in the 70's - 80's. I acquired it from John Rackovan's personal collection (his label is included).

The boytroidal Mimetite crystals are a pleasant golden yellow that sharply contrasts the ochre matrix. It's in good condition as pictured, with perhaps a very minor blemish here and there on one or two mimetites, only seen on extreme close-up. Mounted on a 1 1/2" acryllic base.
