This hard-to-find specimen has outrageous color. In person, it is bright and so purple that 9 out of 10 people are certain it is amethyst at first glance. The color is a lilac-purple and the crystals range in size up to 2.0 cm. The piece has an aesthetic composition just the way it sits (and is pictured). There is one very small spot of a cleaved crystal (one of dozens on the piece), very hard to see. (double click an any pic to see the "microscopic," close-up.)

You can go a very long time and not see a purple creedite from Mexico. This is an excellent example, that we had priced at $6500, but are discounting exclusively for the web site!
