ADAMITE4

When the water level dropped at the Ojuela Mine, in Mapimi, Mexico two years ago, Adamite was mined again for the first time in decades. I was lucky enough to find this piece amongst thousands, among recent production (I had to buy a whole flat just to get this one piece!). This Adamite is reminiscient of the famous purple Adamite find from 30 years ago. It is well formed and has unmistakable purple coloring. On the far right side there is a little "nipping," along the far edge. Overall this is a classic-looking specimen.
