Bright Rubellites cover the feldspar crystal. This piece has character and composition. It's in good condition, with only the back right side showing where it contacted the pocket wall. It's a fine miniature that shows the contrast between the two different minerals quite well. There is some debate over whether the actual location is the Yunnan Province, or if it's from nearby Burma (I would imagine, concealed due to political pressures).
