SUGILITE5

Within the last 2 years, a small pocket of crystallized Sugilite was found at the N'Chwanning III mine. Sugilite is typically found at the Wessels mine, in solid chunks, so this was an amazing discovery. Fibrous purple crystals grow in the seams of the Aegerine matrix. The Sugilite is an electric purple (daylight) that shifts to an electric magenta under incandescent light. This piece really shows the layers of the aegerine "sandwiching," the sugilite crystals. It's quite large.
