SUGILITE2

Within the last 2 years, a small pocket of crystallized Sugilite was found at the N'Chwanning III mine. Sugilite is typically found at the Wessels mine, in solid chunks, so this was an amazing discovery. this piece was described to me as being in the top 10 of the specimens recovered from the pocket, and from the specimens I have seen this is a spectacular example. Fibrous purple crystals grow in the seams of the Aegerine matrix. The Sugilite is an electric purple (daylight) that shifts to an electric magenta under incandescent. No damage.
