Prehnite with Epidote (polished)

I bought a very large lot of Prehnite and Epidote rough two years ago. The color was exceptional but all the pieces had been dinged and scrapped. In the small African country of Mali, similar to other places, minerals are roughly thrown in a sack for storage and transport. I sent the lot to Hong Kong where they were tumbled and hand polished. This is one of the very best from the entire lot. (I held it back for the web site!) It weighs 486 grams (over a pound). It has great, deep color and is pleasantly smooth and fun to hold.
