Pezzottaite (often misspelled as Pezoatite, Pezzoatite, or pezotite) is a Cesium- rich Beryl found in one location in Madagascar about 8 - 10 years ago. These two pieces  have a striking rich pink-magenta color. The piece of rough has been cut and lightly polished on one face, it weighs over 6 grams (over 30 carats) the polished Pezzottaite cabuchon is 9.8 x 12 mm and weighs 4.47 ct. it also exhibits a very pleasant cat's-eye sheen. Pezzottaite has become scarce in the market place.
