JEREMEJEVITE1

This pocket was mined in the last year in the Erongo mountains. This rare mineral is crystallized snugly within a "jacket," of (a new variety) of acicular green Tourmaline. It's in great shape, with no visible damage. The Jeremejevite appears to run the full length of the "tube," It may do that, however there is a white Kaolin-like clay packed inside it, so it's hard to tell if it's a continuous crystal or two separate ones, barely connected. Overall this is a neat piece, and a good example of this new find of Jeremejevite.
