This is a beautiful, ultra Bright Gold. It radiates in thick crystals. It was found in the summer of 2010 in the jungles of Venezuela. In this area, they also mine diamonds. It is a very dangerous area of the world with problems with kidnapping, and violence. This particular specimen was by far the brightest of any of the numerous specimens I have seen, coming into the country in the last year. This piece is a spectacular thumbnail, that sits up well by itself, and resembles a "lotus flower."

It weighs 3.0 grams.
