This beautiful specimen features a well terminated Emerald crystal, nestled within sharp, transparent calcite crystals, on a black matrix. The color combination is attractive, as well as the proportions of the Emerald to the matrix. It's also in excellent condition, and has not been repaired or enhanced in any way. Emeralds from this location in Columbia have been mined for over 500 years. It weighs 19.10 carats/ 3.82 grams.
