This absolutely stunning specimen was one of the best for its size from the pocket found at the Telirio Mine about 4 years ago. The core of the piece is a double terminated beige Albite crystal, on top of it have grown dozens of bright yellow-green Brazilianites. The larger crystals range from 2 to 3.7 cm long, with the average running over 1 cm. The crystallization is highly concentrated and is crowned by a beautiful double terminated Brazilianite on the very top, aesthetically perched in all of its 3.7 cm greatness. I love how the matrix, the Albite is double terminated and also how large the crystals are, especially the double terminated "cherry on top." It comes with a custom made acrylic base ($150 value). I had snagged this out of a lot when it first come to the US from Brazil and sold it to Steve Dowell, whose collection we purchased in the last year. I have been told this mine will never produce again, although I haven't been there personally.
