BENITOITE1

Benitoites come from a now closed mine in California. This dynamic specimen aesthetically combines these three classic minerals. There are over 20 Benitoite crystals on the piece. Two Neptunites jut off the matrix at different angles, and the Natrolite forms a white relief, underneath. There is a neat stack of Benitoites that occur as they've crystallized on a ridge of the matrix. The "stack," is about 2 cm long, and has the largest crystals of the piece on it (.9 cm an edge) Overall fine condition, with the only damage being one of the Neptunites has a rough top, whereas the other is well terminated. Overall, this is a fine piece especially in terms of aesthetic composition.
