Online Orders:

Step 1. - Look through the various items we offer for sale. For an item you'd like to purchase, make note of the item's Specimen ID: this is the name after the word "Specimen," followed by a number at the top of each page. IE Specimen Adamite1  

Step 2. - Go to the  (there's a link at the bottom of each page) and fill it out completely. You will Indicate your preferred method of payment. It will calculate any applicable discounts, and is an interesting tool to try out different combinations for you to get the best deal. Once you are sure of your order just click "Submit,"  If multiple requests to purchase the same item are received, the specimen will be available based on the earliest request.

Step 3. - Within 48 hours we will send you an invoice reflecting a total, that has deducted any applicable discounts (see Quantity Discounts), and will add shipping and insurance costs, and sales tax (for Ohio residents). There will be a grand total for your order.

• If you elect to pay via credit card online, (or through your Paypal account) you will receive a Paypal-generated invoice that includes your grand total for the order. On this invoice is a PAY NOW button that links you to Paypal's secure gateway (you don't need to have a Paypal account to Pay this way).
•  If you elect to pay with a credit card over the phone, we will email you our own invoice with the grand total, and you can call during regular business hours 9-5 PM(EST) to submit your credit card numbers (we use an encrypted wireless terminal, and do not store your credit card numbers online).
• If you elect to pay via personal check, cashier's check, or money order we will email you our own invoice with the grand total and our mailing address. When your check clears we will ship your order.

Credit card payments will be shipped the next business day. Personal checks and money orders should be made payable to "The Crystal Circle," mail to

International Orders:

The above four steps apply. In addition to to credit cards, payment may be made with International Postal Money Orders. Shipments will be posted Airmail, fully insured with the full value declared on the package. International customers are responsible for all import taxes and duties. The purchaser is responsible for all postage if the purchaser refuses to pay duties or taxes and the package is returned by Customs Inspectors. 

If the Customer requests to avoid the full value declared on the package and Assumes all risk for loss or damage, the package will be sent uninsured with the contents labeled "Geologic samples for scientific study. No commercial value." International customers must request this at the time of shipping.

Shipping:

Every specimen, or group of mineral specimens will be sent Priority Mail, via the US Postal service. For international orders, we are open to sending it first class: registered. We have had extremely positive results with this form of shipping over the years. Every specimen shipped will be insured for its full cash value (no one wants to pay for a lost or broken crystal!). All items are typically shipped the next business day (once payment is received). Priority Mail delivers within the lower 48 states within 2 -3 business days. Delivery to Europe is approximately 3 - 15 days. We calculate shipping and insurance rates based upon our cost. To ship a typical order of three or four items will probably cost around $15 for shipping and insurance (depending on size and value).     

Return Policy:

We offer a 14 day grace period. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, carefully wrap the specimen in lots of toilet paper and return the item, fully insured to our address.

For us to receive the item back within the 14 day grace period, please mail within the first 7 days after you receive it.

Remember to include all paperwork, including labels. If the specimen is fragile, double-box it please.

We can only accept returns if they are in the same condition as when we sent them. 

Upon receipt of the returned specimen(s), a credit will be made on your purchase. Your purchase total will be recalculated, and applicable discounts applied (if the returned items drop the total purchase into a lower discount category, the discounts applied will be at  a lower rate.) A refund will be sent promptly for the difference between the original charge and the revised charge for only the items kept. Credit card refunds will be placed on the same credit card, and check or money orders will be returned as a refund check from the Crystal Circle.
